We asked Heather Young-Nichols which one of her Paranormal Romance or Romantic Suspense books was her favorite.
Just like any other book lover, she struggled…
“Picking a favorite is so hard! I have different favorite on different days.
Today I’m going to go with The Gremlin Prince. This one is a favorite of mine because it was so much fun to write. More than that, it started as a joke and turned into this story that I love and made me laugh as well as filled me with sadness.
I was picking my kids up from school one day and was talking to a friend while I waited. We were discussing another book we’d been hearing about that was about trolls. We were laughing about how that was such an unusual choice of creatures and I (as a joke) said, “I’m going to write a story about gremlins and goblins.” I laughed. She laughed. Then we stopped laughing and I more seriously said, “Dude. I’m going to write a story about gremlins and goblins.
In the next twenty minutes, we’d talked through the plot to The Gremlin Prince and then I got to work writing it!”
Check out The Gremlin Prince…
